Our Story

It all started with “Will You Marry Me?”

In January 2026, the year was off to an amazing beginning as my now fiancé popped the question! Soon came the whirlwind of decisions and questions…

“When is your date?”

“How many quests will attend?”

“Did you book a venue?”

“Have you started looking at dresses yet?”

“Are you doing a plated dinner? Have you chosen a caterer?”

Overwhelming was an understatement. Thus began the search for venues, florists, caterers, photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, bakeries - you name it! After weeks of researching what felt like hundreds of businesses, I realized one common problem: pricing. And no, I’m not taking about the amount - though at times that was very much a problem. I’m talking about the fact that pricing seemed to be the hardest pieces of information to find!

As a soon-to-be bride, I was very aware that pricing depended on guest count, customization, etc. All I was looking for was a “starting at” at the very least. That’s when I started creating lists and spreadsheets trying to make sense of all the information (and lack there of).

I wanted to create something that would help couples in the planning stages. Something that was more a resource than a traditional magazine. I wanted it to be beautiful yet helpful.

Inside The Niagara Wedding Guide you’ll find pricing for venue packages, vendors and wedding services within the region.

I hope this guide helps - even the smallest amount - and let’s you plan the wedding of your dreams without the added stress.
